<\/i>New York City FC kicked off its soccer marathon ahead of Sunday\u2019s home opener against the Los Angeles Galaxy with a day-long soccer match at Rockefeller Center Friday afternoon.<\/span><\/b><\/i><\/span>
The two teams \u2014 Team Villa vs. Team Vieira \u2014 will comprise over 500 New Yorkers participating in a 24-hour, five-on-five game on an artificial field smack in front of 30 Rockefeller Place.<\/span><\/b><\/i>

The netting that was facilitated by Gourock for this job was a series of nets built for the surrounding perimeter area, as well as nets to cover the top of the scaffolding structure covering the playing field.  The netting for this project was built from DuPont\u00ae type 66-728 twisted nylon twine<\/a><\/b>, and prepared in a knotted mesh construction.  The nets were all fabricated with a diamond mesh pattern, and each had a 5\/16″ braided polyester rope bordering installed around all 4 edges.  There were a few different combinations of sizes needed for the overall installation:<\/span>
