in height. &nbsp;And since the poles are sectional in design, some customers have opted to eliminate pole sections and achieve shorter heights or other custom preferences. &nbsp;There is good online information about these poles available on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gourock.com\/netting-pole-system.html\">this page of the Gourock site<\/a>, and we also offer the following video guideline about them as well:<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both;text-align: left\"><span style=\", sans-serif\"><\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\", sans-serif\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\", sans-serif\">Here are a couple of recent examples of basketball barrier nets that were ordered to custom sizing, along with in-ground steel pole components, that were installed at residential locations. &nbsp;Both feature basketball hoops on driveways &#8211; but use different netting mesh\/twine sizes based on personal preferences. &nbsp;Here are a few of photos provided to us by our customers who reported great results and a lot of product satisfaction from their finished projects.<\/span><br \/><span style=\", sans-serif\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\", sans-serif\"><u>Example 1: <\/u><\/span><br \/><span style=\", sans-serif\">This is a private residence that opted to use<b> #21 X 1-3\/4&#8243;<\/b> knotted nylon netting (square mesh, rope bordered) for the barrier netting. &nbsp;One of the nets is 12&#8242; X 24&#8242; and is installed behind the hoop area &#8211; suspended between 3 of the 12&#8242; tall poles. &nbsp;The second net is from the same material, but built 4&#8242; X 22&#8242; and is suspended between 3 of the ground sleeves\/anchors that are using only the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gourock.com\/parts-nps.html\">33&#8243; and 23&#8243; pole sections<\/a> (to accomplish a shorter overall height for the shorter netting).<\/span><br \/><span style=\", sans-serif\">The tall netting is very typical in size and installation for a lot of basketball barrier nets that are installed behind a driveway basketball hoop. &nbsp;The shorter netting is more unique since its purpose is only to prevent rolling balls that may come off of the side of the court area and over into the street. &nbsp;The netting is tensioned\/tightened to the poles using Gourock&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gourock.com\/ball-bungee.html\">Bungee Ball Straps<\/a>.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"clear: left;float: left;, sans-serif;margin-bottom: 1em;margin-right: 1em\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"225\" src=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-JfbpuoghiuA\/V_Vtod5QSpI\/AAAAAAAACPc\/JYxw3b6h6rAjo7HywvBW-DQeZ_29GHf9gCK4B\/s400\/IMG_7493.JPG\" width=\"400\" \/><\/span><br \/><span style=\", sans-serif\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"clear: left;float: left;, sans-serif;margin-bottom: 1em;margin-right: 1em\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"225\" src=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-alaloYj3_1U\/V_VtseDURMI\/AAAAAAAACPk\/4zsHhPIcwF0MUVoBQY5I_IqsEm5hrPpTwCK4B\/s400\/IMG_7494.JPG\" width=\"400\" \/><\/span><br \/><span style=\", sans-serif\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\", sans-serif\"><u>Example 2:<\/u><\/span><br \/><span style=\", sans-serif\">This is a private residence that needed to only block basketballs from rolling down their driveway and into the adjacent street. &nbsp;They wanted the lightest and least-visible netting possible, which is the <b>#15 X 4&#8243;<\/b> knotted nylon netting (square mesh, with a rope border). &nbsp;This net was 5&#8242; X 25&#8242; in sizing, and also suspended across the driveway between a pair of the 8&#8242; poles\/anchors &#8211; however in order to get the poles down to a shorter overall height they eliminated the 23&#8243; pole section from the assembly.
