Cord Bordering on Alternative Mesh Netting Materials
Some netting selections have their own unique bordering fabrication materials. 4mm Cord Bordering is installed on 1-1/2" square mesh Kevlar® netting. This is a 665 lb. tensile rating twisted nylon cord that is laced through the edge meshes, and then hand-sewn to the netting with periodic clove hitch knots. On the debris fabric materials (1/4" mesh polyester and HDPE 50% shade cloth) there is an option for 3/16" twisted nylon rope that features a 1145 lb. breaking strength, which is machine-wrap sewn to the perimeter edges.
Below we present a series of reference images that help demonstrate this type of bordering on a selection of netting types. Not all netting options that we supply are shown, however a diverse range of twine thicknesses and mesh sizes are included to provide you with helpful context. Each image is captioned with the netting details, along with any pertinent notes that may apply - and there are some closeup photos as well.
