Recommendations: The best mesh size depends on the smallest item on your line. Our durable DuPont® Twisted-Knotted Nylon is the ideal material.

• For larger items (boxes, totes): A 1-3/4" to 4" mesh with Standard Duty (#21 or #36 twine) offers reliable containment with excellent visibility.
• For smaller items (parts, mailers): A 1" mesh or smaller ensures that even the smallest objects are safely contained on the belt. The 1/4" Polyester Mesh is an excellent choice for very fine materials.

Under-Conveyor Nets (Drop & Safety Nets)

Application: Suspended horizontally underneath an elevated conveyor system to catch any items that fall off or through the belt, protecting workers, walkways, and equipment below.

Recommendations: Strength and impact absorption are the top priorities for this critical safety application.

• Standard Choice: Our Heavy Duty Twisted-Knotted Nylon (#72 twine) is the recommended solution for most under-conveyor systems. Its high strength and abrasion resistance provide dependable protection from falling objects. A 1-3/4" mesh is a versatile choice.

• Maximum-Duty Choice: For conveyors carrying heavy, high-value, or hazardous materials, our High-Performance Netting (Kevlar® or HMWPE) is essential. These materials offer extreme tensile strength and cut resistance. Kevlar® also provides NFPA 701 flame retardancy, a critical certification for many industrial facilities.
