- 4" Mesh | Standard for Soccer-Only Fields
This is the most popular and cost-effective choice for containing regulation soccer balls (size 4 and 5). The larger openings provide excellent visibility for spectators and result in less wind load on outdoor installations. This is the standard for most dedicated soccer barrier netting. - 1-3/4" or 2" Mesh | For Multi-Sport Fields & Maximum Durability
A smaller mesh is essential if your field is also used for sports with smaller balls, such as lacrosse, field hockey, or baseball. Many facilities also choose a smaller mesh for soccer-only applications as the tighter weave provides enhanced strength and a longer overall lifespan.
