- Specify Your Exact Dimensions: You aren’t limited to standard sizes. Our calculator allows you to enter the precise Height, Width, and Length you need, down to the inch.
- Choose Your Netting Strength: Select from our premium, 100% USA-made Type 66 Twisted-Knotted Nylon Netting in three different twine thicknesses:
- #21 (2.0mm): Ideal for residential, youth, or moderate-use applications.
- #36 (2.5mm): The industry standard. A perfect balance of strength and performance for high school, college, and commercial facility use.
- #72 (3.5mm): Our most heavy-duty, professional-grade netting for the heaviest use in pro-level and high-volume commercial facilities.
- Select Your Bottom Border: You can decide how the bottom edge of your net is finished, whether you prefer no rope, a standard 5/16″ rope border for a clean finish, or a weighted-rope bottom to keep the net firmly on the ground and contain every ball.

1. New Feature: Choose Your Mesh Pattern (Diamond vs. Square)
You now have the power to select the mesh pattern for your netting.
Why does this matter? While both patterns offer the same exceptional strength and durability, this choice gives you total control over the look and function of your cage. You may have a preference for the “square-hung” look, or you may need to match an existing net at your facility. Our calculator now lets you choose:
- Diamond Mesh Pattern: The standard, most cost-effective orientation.
- Square Mesh Pattern: A premium look that some users prefer.
The calculator automatically adjusts pricing and fabrication details, making this complex choice simple. We’ve even added helpful mouse-over pop-ups with descriptions and images to help you see the difference.
2. New Feature: Add Interactive Entrance Doors
A batting cage net is a fully-enclosed box. But how do you get in and out?
In the past, adding a door was a special request. Now, it’s a standard, selectable option. You can add one (or more!) 3-foot overlapping netting doors for convenient, pass-through entry and exit. These “overlap” doors are designed to contain baseballs while allowing you to walk in and out without lifting the net.
Our new “Door Location Guide” makes it easy. A new diagram, available as a pop-up, shows you 8 different pre-set locations. Simply check the box for the door you want (S1, S2, E1, E4, etc.), and it’s added to your build.
