To provide a bit more context on some of the unique netting jobs that we consistently undertake, here are 3 custom netting enclosure examples from the last few weeks that were each produced and shipped to professional commercial clients for training facilities and athletic establishments:
EXAMPLE 1:
This custom net was a baseball and softball batting cage netting enclosure that was built from #36 X 1-3/4″ DuPont® Twisted-Knotted Nylon in a diamond mesh pattern. The custom dimensions required on the fabrication were requested by our client to be 12′ high X 16′-8″ wide X 70′ long. In addition, there was a custom 7′ X 3′ overlapping netting entrance door built into our customer’s specified corner area. Every edge of the netting enclosure was rope-bordered, and there were also 2″ steel rings attached to all 4 upper corners of the net – along with 2″ steel rings on each end of the central ceiling-line support rope. This net was produced and ready to ship out in 2 working weeks from the order date.
EXAMPLE 2:
This custom net was a baseball and softball batting cage netting enclosure that was built from #36 X 1-3/4″ DuPont® Twisted-Knotted Nylon in a diamond mesh pattern. The custom dimensions required on the fabrication were requested by our client to be 14′ high X 14′ wide X 80′ long. In addition, there were 2 custom 14′ X 3′ overlapping netting entrances door built into our customer’s specified locations on each end of the cage net (4′ in from each end-panel). Every edge of the netting enclosure was rope-bordered, and there were also 5′ long rope tails off all 4 upper corners of the net – along with off each end of the central ceiling-line support rope. This net was produced and ready to ship out in 2 working weeks from the order date.
EXAMPLE 3:
This netting supply job included a custom netting enclosure, as well as a couple of additional netting panels as well. The custom netting enclosure was built from #72 X 1-3/4″ DuPont® Twisted-Knotted Nylon in a diamond mesh pattern. These nets were for a commercial hockey training facility to contain and block direct impacts from pucks. The enclosure net featured custom dimensions of 12′ high X 10′ wide X 25′ long, and included rope borders on all edges – with the bottom edge having a weighted-rope. Also included in the design was a requested 12′ high X 3′ wide overlapping netting entrance door located in our customer’s specified corner location. To be used in conjunction with the netting enclosure, this order and fabrication also included a secondary impact netting panel built from the same #72 X 1-3/4″ knotted nylon. The secondary impact net was 12′ high X 10′ wide with rope bordering on the top and side edges, with the weighted rope on the bottom edge. Impact nets like these are generally hung within the netting enclosure to double-up the netting on the primary end-panel of impact. And then also within the overall netting fabrication was also a barrier and containment net that our client was using to block errant pucks from flying out of the training space. This was a 10′ high X 84′-6″ long area, and the netting for this application was the #21 X 1-3/4″ DuPont® Twisted-Knotted Nylon Netting in a square mesh pattern with a 5/16″ Dacron® Rope Bordered Edge. These nets was produced and ready to ship out in 2 working weeks from the order date.
