Driving Range Netting and Golf Barrier Nets, Connecticut Installation

At Gourock.com we specialize in the supply of custom netting and customized barrier nets.  Barrier nets and protective netting panels are used for a very wide range of different types of applications, and generally the main purpose is to either contain objects within a particular space – or to keep objects out of a certain area.  One of the more well-known applications for protective barrier netting is in the golf industry – and generally can be seen installed at driving ranges, country clubs and golf courses, properties along fairways, and golf training facilities.  Gourock.com has many, many years of experience supplying the highest quality custom golf barrier nets that are constructed according to your own preferred sizes.  Considering Gourock’s availability of barrier netting that is prepared per-order, nets can be built to match your own particular and unique coverage areas.

Golf barrier netting is used primarily to keep golf balls contained within a driving range area (or along a fairway) in order to lower the chances of property damage and lost balls, as well as enhancing spectator/human/pedestrian safety.  Golf range barrier nets need to be dependable in outdoor environments for an extended period of time, while taking into consideration many durability and usage variables such as netting strength and physical weight, material resilience to exposure, wind conditions, visibility considerations, and proper product fit.

Gourock.com supplies driving range barrier nets that are constructed from 100% DuPontĀ® Type 66-728 Twisted-Knotted Tarred Nylon Netting, featuring a 1″ mesh size and a 5/16″ rope bordering sewn-in around the perimeter edges.  These are premium Made in USA materials and fabrications, and are highly recommended for long-term golf driving range and barrier netting installations.  There are 2 twine thicknesses available to consider, which are the #12 (116 lb./twine) and the #18 (191 lb./twine) and both can be researched and customer ordered directly through our Golf Barrier Netting section of our site:

LaPorta Partners LLC, a commercial customer of ours from Milford, CT recently finished up a driving range netting installation in which they replaced all of the barrier nets at a practice location in Fairfield, CT.  This job is a great example of how a functional and durable driving range netting installation is accomplished – and here at Gourock.com we were very appreciative about a set of photos and footage that they sent our way to show the job.

Although Gourock does not provide installation services, we do offer some general context, basic approaches, and hardware item options on our site:

Here are some of the details of the custom netting we produced and supplied for LaPorta Partners for this project – followed by a series of photos and video to help demonstrate the context and final appearance of a professional driving range netting installation.

Thanks again Joe & Stan!  It’s always great working with you, we appreciate your business!
