Golf Range Driving Nets, High Impact Golf Netting for Outdoor Municipal Installation

Over the last few weeks at Gourock.com, we have facilitated a good number of custom golf impact nets, golf driving range nets, and golf barrier netting productions and orders.  As we specialize in the highest quality golf nets that are 100% Made in the USA, hand-prepared per order, constructed to customized sizes and dimensions, from the top-end DuPontĀ® Type 66-728 twisted-knotted nylon – you have access to the best golf netting solutions for your exact project requirements.

Golf netting has many different purposes and intentions based on each unique customer needs.  In some instances, a driving range customer requires barrier nets to surround a large outdoor golf driving facility.  In other cases, a golf course may have some close-range areas of direct full-velocity golf shot impacts and requires the netting to properly function in that sort of typical environment.  Gourock.com supplies netting for both of these situations, and a wide range of golf net uses that are similar.  Whether the installation area is a private residence or a commercial high-volume establishment, the golf netting we supply is the high quality, durable, and customizable choice that excels in performance.

For golf barrier netting at municipal, commercial, and professional establishments there are many different factors to consider for the best golf netting choice to depend on.  Over the last few weeks at Gourock.com we facilitated the design, production, and shipment of a very custom golf netting production for an outdoor municipal public golf facility in Delaware.

This client required the maximum available strength, durability, and direct high-impact golf protection available – and we handled this very custom netting job in order to fulfill their direct requests and requirements.  For context, most golf driving range nets are containing errant golf shots from a distance away – so that the overall ball-speed when hitting the netting is already diminished by the time it gets there.  Typical driving range netting features a 1″ mesh size – and is an exceedingly popular netting selection provided by Gourock.  Alternatively, golf impact netting is a smaller 3/4″ mesh size – and is the recommended golf netting choice for full-velocity ball shots (golf cage nets, driving nets, close-range hitting nets).  For this particular installation in Delaware, our client preferred to use the most heavy-duty golf impact netting for their overall golf containment area.  In this case, they were dealing with a hitting area that could be considered a very large golf cage.  The overall length was a bit less than 100′ long, with the highest point in vertical sizing being 40′ tall.  So for maximum safety, the 3/4″ golf impact netting mesh size was preferred.

In addition to the custom dimensions and sizes of the nets, this custom golf netting job also incorporated:
  • tapered and angled ceiling panel nets
  • vertical rope riblines running through the vertical netting (to line-up with the surrounding poles)
  • ceiling-line ropes running through the upper/top netting (to connect to a support cable)
  • secondary layer of impact netting to cover entire back 40′ X 31′ end panel
  • #21 X 3/4″ DuPontĀ® Type 66-728 Twisted-Knotted Nylon Netting
  • TAR-COATED netting for maximum outdoor exposure resilience
