Golf Cage Nets and Custom Golf Netting Designs from Gourock.com

At Gourock.com we have always been a source for premium golf cage netting and golf driving nets that are constructed to customized designs and sizes.  As the colder and wetter seasons roll in for a lot of golfers, having an indoor golf hitting net is an invaluable benefit to keeping their swing and training on track.  We supply customized golf netting that is built according to most any particular dimensions or shape features required to functionally fit within an intended golf hitting area.  Over the last couple decades we have shipped out golf nets and golf cage netting that is produced to an extremely wide variety of different custom sizes, with many unique features and personalized requests.  Some examples include golf nets that have very specific dimensional requirements, tapers or angled shape needs, removable impact panels and divider nets, doors or entrance area characteristics, and specific bordering or edge-finishing requests.

Since golf cage nets and golf hitting nets are usually installed and hung within various different types of frames, hooks, or suspension cables there are many times that a more specifically constructed netting design is very preferred in order for the final project to not only function perfectly – but also to have a really professional appearance and aesthetic.  Fortunately by using Gourock.com for you golf netting supply, you get access to the highest quality netting materials and expert craftsmanship – allowing you to dependably accomplish both goals.  We use 100% Made in USA DuPont® type 66-728 twisted-knotted nylon netting, along with 5/16″ Dacron® rope bordering materials – and all netting designs are completely hand-crafted per invoice with fast turnaround times.

Golf impact netting is a 3/4″ mesh size, and at Gourock we offer two different twine thicknesses for golf ball uses.  The lighter weight #15 X 3/4″ knotted nylon is a 144 lb. tensile rating twine, with a 1.8mm twine thickness.  This is a great selection for the golf ball containment areas of a golf driving space, such as side-walls, ceilings, and for areas that need to retain errant balls and shots.  Secondly, there is the thicker #21 X 3/4″ knotted nylon netting, which is a 241 lb. tensile rating twine with a 2.0mm twine thickness.  This mesh selection is used for the direct driving nets (being driven-into on purpose) such as the back walls or impact panels of a golf cage, or other zones that golfers are specifically driving into as the primary hitting area at a close range.  Many times what we see is a customer preference for using the #15 X 3/4″ nylon netting for the surrounding containment areas of the golf cage, and then using the heavier #21 X 3/4″ nylon netting for the back direct-impact wall.  Or conversely, the entire cage netting and primary impact panel net are often made exclusively from the heavier #21 twine netting, which is a very popular option for commercial golf installations, pro shops, high UV/exposure installations, organizational golf setups, and residential projects that prefer the thicker netting all around.

Regarding availability, Gourock.com has been a primary specialist in direct e-commerce ordering for nearly 20 years – allowing you direct access to custom sized golf cage nets right through our Online Custom Golf Cage Calculator.  You can order any dimensions at all, and we have them processed, produced, and shipped to your location within just a couple of weeks on average.  In addition, you can always contact us directly and provide us with diagrams, sketches, or additional details on your golf cage netting project – and we’ll get a personalized quotation prepared and emailed back your way promptly.

Here are a couple of examples from the last few weeks that show some unique custom golf cage nets that we have shipped out to our customers.  As you can see, there are unique sizes and shape features incorporated into each of these golf nets – which were required to match up with specific framing and installation areas.  Each of these nets was personally quoted by request, and were fabricated and shipped out in one business week of the order.  They both incorporate the #15 X 3/4″ and the #21 X 3/4″ knotted nylon netting options, and have tapered/angled shape designs along with secondary double-layers of impact netting.  These were both intended for indoor installations for full-time use throughout the year – making them a fantastic training option for golf swing practice all winter long.
