Examples of Unique Custom Nets Supplied by Gourock
As a market leader in custom netting for over 25 years, at Gourock.com we have lots of relevant experience with many types of nets that are used for many types of applications. To help provide additional context into the custom netting productions available for your project needs, are are 3 recent examples of unique netting fabrications that were built and shipped to our customers.
In this first example you can see a diagram indicating 5 barrier netting panels that were produced to our customer’s exact sizing and shape needs. In this case the material used is #12 X 1″ twisted knotted nylon netting, in a diamond mesh pattern, with a 5/16″ polyester rope bordered perimeter edge. 1″ mesh size is a very functional multipurpose netting selection for object containment and exclusion. For instance, 1″ mesh size nylon netting is recommended for uses such as golf ball barrier, driving range nets, bird exclusion nets, and solar panel protective barrier needs. In this particular order our client needed speciality nets made to a 6′ height – with lengths of 80′-4″, 33′, and 43′. In addition, a pair of smaller triangular netting panels were also needed in order to effectively account for all areas of mesh coverage.
Custom Nets for Decks and Railings
This second recent production diagram displays a series of custom nets that we produced and shipped to a customer that has some specific fabrication needs. In this case they were seeking containment netting that was to be layered within some railings that surrounded an elevated deck area. Each netting panel was to be built to a height of 40″ in order to properly fit the railing space. There were 5 individual runs of netting coverage needed, which were in lengths of 201″, 101″, 63″, 171″, and 59″.
Because our customer preferred to use a custom netting selection that combined a high tensile rating with a small mesh size, the best product match was #21 X 3/4″ square mesh twisted-knotted nylon netting. The perimeter of each net was bordered with 1-1/2″ polypropylene webbing. The other unique aspect to this job was that there were specifically requested placements for #2 brass grommets, in order for the safety nets to line up properly with the locations to anchor the mesh in-place. You can see from the included production diagram that we facilitated those requests very well, and our client achieved his goals perfectly.
Golf Simulator Hitting Bay Divider Nets
And thirdly, we show the production drawing for a series of 7 barrier netting panels that were ordered for an indoor golf simulator establishment. The golf ball containment netting from Gourock.com is a very dependable and user-friendly product that we specialize in. At commercial golf locations such as golf simulator businesses and driving ranges, utilizing divider nets between hitting bays is often a requirement.
